Seelevel Gallery aims on presenting current leading fine art photography by focussing on ‘cutting edge’ photography and artists who explore and expand the diversity of the photographic medium. The gallery provides a platform for artists who focus on examining the transformations in function and meaning of the photographic image, and also in their elaboration are looking for a broadening of the medium. In this way photography can also function as a starting point or framework for multimedia installations, collages, sculptures and conceptual art.

Gallery owner Caroline O’Breen, an experienced player in the art world, has a great passion for photography. She wants to convey this passion through new ideas and original concepts to highlight the best work of promising photographers. Caroline O’Breen has been curating exhibitions for many institutions such as, Museum Slager, The Foundation Young in Prison, the Amsterdam Centre for Photography and SBK Amsterdam. Seelevel Gallery can be found in the heart of Amsterdam.
