The story

Dutch Artist Frank van Driel (b. 1968) specializes in fine art photography. In his personal projects this staged aspect is widely used and visible throughout his work. His references to a deepened sense of life and his personal history are powerful. Hereby strong, melodramatic and lovely images arise.

Frank is a passionate authentic artist. He is ambitious and always searching for co-creation and new possibilities. Frank loves working both on location and at his charming studio 'Het Pand', an old monastery built in 1424 with day - and artificial light, based at the heart of the old city centre of 's-Hertogenbosch. Currently Frank is working towards a new series, made in magnificent 17th Century estates, mansions and castles in the Netherlands.
