The story
Daybed sofa designed by Rob Parry for Gelderland, the Netherlands, ca. 1958. Fully restored three seater sofa with new foam on the inside and reupholstered with a dark blue Nobilis fabric. The sofa is adjustable, extends into partial sofa bed.
Rob Parry (born 1925) Dutch architect and produced the majority of his functional design from 1945 - 1960. He studied under and worked for Gerrit Rietveld, whose influence can be seen in the bold lines and sculptural quality of Parry's works.
